Physical Science is a high school level science course that on a block schedule amounts to one semester of chemistry and one semester of physics. While both disciplines are highly mathematical in nature, the focus of this course will be developing a conceptual understanding of observable phenomena in our world.
While this course fulfills North Carolina’s graduation requirement for a physical science course it is also a good foundation for students desiring to take additional science courses such as general chemistry or physics.
